Dádiva is a small gift-guide site based in London. This page explains what we collect when you make an account, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it to the minimum.

What we collect

We don't collect payment details. We don't sell your information or share it with brands.

Why we use it

We use your email, name and lists to run your account, because you've asked us to save your lists. We only send newsletter emails (new guides, the latest drops and gift ideas) if you've ticked the box to say yes. You can change your mind at any time from the My lists page, or with the unsubscribe link in any email.

Who looks after it

Your account and lists are stored with Supabase, which provides our sign-in and database. The site itself is hosted by Netlify. They process your information on our behalf and only to run this site.

Browser storage

When you sign in, your browser stores a small sign-in token so you stay logged in. We don't use advertising cookies or tracking on this site. When you click through to a shop, that shop's own privacy policy and cookies apply.

How long we keep it

We keep your account until you ask us to delete it. If you'd like your account and lists deleted, email us and we'll remove them.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Email us at ola@dadiva.studio. If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
